Thanks so much to everyone who came to our first step victory & keep up the pressure party. It was an epic amount of fun, and the press covered our parade, so we were keeping the issue of saving our garden in the news while having a ball doing it too.
What's next?
Politicans and HPD said that we couldn't possibly have the HPD-claimed land transfered into the parks department... and thanks to all of your letters, phone calls, and coming to the community board meetings... we did it!
We can make it happen with the developer-claimed lot too, reuniting our wholecommunity garden once and for all.
