| On Saturday, January 5th, 2013 at approximately 2:10 a.m., police responded to a 911 call of a shots fired inside of 144-11 Jamaica Avenue (EL Nuevo Restaurant, Queens). Upon arrival, police observed two victims with gunshot wounds to the body: Male victim #1, 38, sustained one gunshot wound to the stomach. EMS responded and transported victim #1 to Jamaica Hospital where he is listed in stable condition. Male victim #2, 20-30s, sustained one gunshot wound to the chest. EMS responded and pronounced victim #2 deceased at the scene. There are no arrest(s) at this time. The investigation is ongoing. The identification of Victim #2 is pending family notification. |
