Liz Ryan St. Vincent's Hospital Activist Dear New York Post
Dear New York Post:
Do you know and can you find out for us, where the 24 or 25 people injured in this fire were treated, and to what hospital the "4 were hospitalized" were taken?
Was Downtown Hospital by the South Street Seaport able to take care of these people or did they have to be transported up-town....WAY WAY up-town?
How are these people doing and what is the effect on their health and recovery of the unavailability of NYU, Bellevue, the VA Hospital and Saint Vincents?
If the fire had been more serious and involved more injuries, heart attacks and sever burns, how would the unavailability of the 3 closed hospitals and Saint Vincents
have affected the lives of the injured?
We need to know this. Firefighters and electrical workers are not expendable people. The body politic needs to provide for their life-saving care.
Thank you for having your journalists find and report to you readers the answers to these important questions.
THANK YOU NEW YORK POST!
Liz Ryan
