I don't like your client Julien Chabbott and he was wrong driving away but I recommend you call NYPD officer Eugene Schatz who was having a conversation with staff Mercer Hotel 2 years ago -- got in his NYPD squad car with his pretty young partner and aggressively pulled up to me as I was leaving a voice mail for Internal Affars.
He aggressively barked at me they can park there! Meaning Mercer Hotel pals can use the loading and unloading as private parking which they did chronically for years until your client.
I even found a fake NYPD placard in luxury SUV parked outside way before Schatz and could not get it ticketed. Have photo doc. Same with lux cars like a Ferrari -- would have to go back -- precinct would not ticket.
I reported all to Internal Affairs. Pretty amazing 2 years later came back to haunt DI Edward Winski than a Capt. I had alerted him to the fact they used loading and unloading as private parking.
