I think Dave Paterson belong in jail for witness tampering and perjury but he did do something good --- if a corrupt NYPD officer is proven to break the law the NYPD will lose his pension unlike the 2 NYPD mafia hit men sitting in jail collecting their pensions but is there a new precedent set perhaps by Ron Kuby's compelling letter?
NYC Gov has refused to represent NYPD Bologna who pepper sprayed women standing peacefully behind the orange barriers.
Is this yet another warning heads up for NYPD officers to think carefully about your actions because you may have to fend for yourself although Bologna got bailed out by one of the NYPD unions I believe and you may lose your pension.
NYPD union members -- think it was Captain too tired to look up and my left eye bothering me but their members are going to pay for a defense that is sure to lose and the tax payers will be out a money to Ron Kuby's clients because DI Bologna was plain wrong and abused his power as well as peaceful protests.
The NYPD may have broken OWS but the pay-outs to Occupy Wall Street members have just become.
What has changed -- one can only hope -- a tougher climate and far harsher penalties for cops that abuse their power and break the law as well as harass innocent New Yorkers and peaceful protestors or far worse forms of harm.

what he says is never really funny but I feel like I am reading Joesph Heller Catch-22 and how he categories and addresses the NYPD lying - well I find myself laughing.
