Mayor Bloomberg Answer Questions On Shady Real Estate Long Island City!

Ask Bloomberg why he sold City property in Long Island City by first tearing down a under-utilized municipal parking garage to tishman-speyer, build 2 Gotham, and then expect Tishman to sell it back to NYC. 


 Can you guess that 2 Gotham is where the DOHMH now resides when there was no reason to move  DOHMH out of NYC when many of those building were City owned. 


 But realize, 2 Gotham was then sold to a private Canadian holding compnay and never sold back to the City by Tishman.  

We (Taxpayers) now pay rent for 19 more years to a foreign company.  Go figure the logic involved!
