Lincoln Reslter No Reformer but Better than a Lopez Puppet?
Only time will tell because I am hearing rumors he may just sell-out himself he is so ambitious but too date Brooklyn is Crooklyn and Vito Lopez puppets in place all the way down to the community board and all are corrupt and it ties in to real estate so much so they give Dept of Buildings a blind eye in their corrupt dealings. Ask any of them from Albany to community boards about Dept of Building complaints in Brooklyn and how they did nothing.
Why?
Ask Chris Olechowski what he has done to stop corrupt dealings involving less than ethical developers and Dept of Building in Brooklyn. The answer is nothing.
I hear rumors that Vito Lopez has the goods on everyone including Mike Bloomberg and in ties in to real estate in Brooklyn starting with Pfizer so as Chris Olechowiski who made a shameful comment on Vito Lopez's action involving alleged sexual harassment which the NYDN published.
Olechowiski and Restler won't touch Dept. of Building corruption but neither will the Public Advocate or any Brooklyn representative and why is that?
How do these people look themselves in the mirror?
You want to understand corruption in NYC look to real estate dealings or should I say mis-dealings.
It is easy for any New York politician to say they are a reformer.
Show me one.
You can't.
Even Charles Hynes is silent -- no Hynes praised Lopez who is a crook and Lopez employed his daughter. Hynes has such strong feelings for Lopez he has to recuse himself but it seems he too should resign along with Sheldon Silver.
The people of Brooklyn are not represented because of Vito Lopez's puppets from the very top to the bottom which is the community board. Ask Chris how many buildings collapsed in his district -- how many construction sites filled with oil from the oil spill and what did DOB and in the oil spill case DEP do -- oh when activists made them. Is Chris Olechowiski going to do anything about Dept of Building's less than stellar job in Brooklyn?
What about Lincoln Restler?
Don't feel bad not one politician has the integrity or guts to take on Dept of Building.
These guys don't represent the People -- the represent just very specific people and they have no problem looking themselves in the mirror. Shameful.

Lopez even helped Bloomberg and Quinn push through an illegal third term. They owe him which is in part why Christine Quinn invited him to her wedding. She also invited him because she needs him.
Tony Avella really rare -- he really is as close to an honest politician if there is one -- he is it. The only person I have met in NYC. At the community board meeting where Esposito called a liar he was accused of being abusive to women including leaving the room when a woman spoke on corruption DOB . He also refused to call a meeting to hold DOB accountable. Is he a Lopez puppet and have attitude problems on women because women were calling him a liar?
