Tourists from around the world can hide their disgust at out dirty poorly run subway system and this morning it reeks of vomit with drunken folks asleep on Thr ground and the smell of homeless people who have not bathed for days and are too mentally ill to care for themselves or prefer Subway stations to homeless shelters.
What should have taken a half hour took me an hour and three men on the subway stairs had me worried but they saw I was rushing and what ever they were doing they have me consideration one saying let her go as I rushed by.
Once on the platform a drunk man leaned towards me like I was Marilyn Monroe.
I went and sat down not able to escape the post new year vomit smells.
Than I sat for 20 min -- it can't be a holiday schedule in a city of 8 plus million people - I did everything at a sprint and sit wishing I was not handicapped enough I can't run because I could run faster than the subway.
Note MTA has been involved with mayor tech corrupt deals and Bloomberg and Rudy's guys tried pushing thru über corrupt SAIC MTA deal even when the NY State Comptroller said no!
The video cameras do not work which is tragic not that video cameras would have stopped all the murders with Sunando Sen a beautiful soul being the last subway murder of the year.
Sunando Sen was a good good person.
