Michael Bloomberg - Reporters in the room for the Mayor’s press conference on Monday said he looked angrier than they had seen him in a long time. You didn’t need to be in the room to see it. Bloomberg blistered the federal court ruling calling for changes to the city’s stop-and-frisk procedures, howling that the city was now a more dangerous place. For good or for bad, the mayor’s legacy will forever be tied to the policy, and the courts will surely weigh in on this debate again, but for this week Bloomberg is undoubtedly in the loser column.
