Christine Quinn 14 Years in City Council Doesn't Get Sympathy She Hope for NYTimes Comments

Suzannah Troy attempt to reply to "Interested" NY Times comment because NY Times censors:
To "Interested" Christine Quinn has been in City Council as council member for 14 years....that is longer than George Washington was President because he did not want to be king of NYC but Quinn wants to replace Mike Bloomberg as the little emperor of NYC.
Her first win as city council member was Feb. 1999. I got this info on her years served from Louis Flores, her unauthorized biographer.

What you're finding is that there are really a lot of people in NYC who don't like Christine Quinn, not that the Times is manipulating its comment section. And people see this for what it is--a cynical campaign-driven event.
Ms. Quinn has been Speaker of the NYC Council for eight years and this is the first time we've heard about any of this? If she'd had any true concern about bulimia or alcoholism we might have heard about it sometime between 2005 and 2013, not four months before the Democratic primary.
FYI: My comment from before http://suzannahbtroy.blogspot.com/2013/05/suzannah-b_14.html trying to get past NY Times comment censorship so this is me trying to be tame.
