At least cab king Gene Freidman has until January to prepare for an all-out assault from Mayor Bloomberg (“Mike’s Reckless Driving,” Editorial, May 23).
The mayor’s been destroying the school system for 12 long years.

Bloomberg is telling Assemblyman Vito Lopez to pack it in?
If ever a person should heed his own advice, it’s Bloomberg.
He’s rammed higher taxes, astronomical water-bill increases and various other levies down our throats. He bought his way into an illegal third term. He has dictated to people what they should eat and drink while people are losing their homes and going bankrupt.
He has flaunted his wealth, which has more than tripled since he took office. He has overseen the CityTime payroll scandal — still not explaining what happened under his watch — and has worked alongside a police department that has committed as many crimes as the people it has arrested.
Now he threatens a taxi-fleet owner because the man dared challenge his royal edict.
