What is the point of the Civilian Review Board if NYPD Internal Affairs can come in and take away a civilians' complaints?
Let CCRB do their job and Internal Affairs do a separate investigation?
Why -- IA does biz behind closed doors and protects the "NYPD Brand" and NYPD have to answer questions under oath when questioned by CCRB so can you understand why I am very angry and upset IA has come in and take my complaints away to handle themselves and by whom?
IA's Integrity Bureau? 2 serious crimes occurred and than in my opinion how the NYPD handled it was criminal. The NYPD used a crime to make a crime go away instead of going to the DA not that I have any faith in the DA.
The power NYPD detectives are given to be judge and jury -- it was left up to Det. John Vergona's discretion or indiscretion to go to the DA or not to with the false complaint?
Shameful and corrupt in my humble opinion.
