If only Mike has put safety and infrastructure first instead of giving the green light to all his greedy pals to supersize and bust through zoning and so rapidly so no city agency could have monitored it even if they tried and clearly they didn't because we have some of the worst shoddy construction ever seen with no Made in the USA pride but a lot of crap.
The streets were better in Colonial Times and some of the infrastructure dates back to the Civil War era.

We can't have fire houses closed even over night because we need the FDNY to fight fires and to be on hand for the constant infrastructure breaks which under Bloomberg are record breaking with man hole covers, gas leaks, water main breaks, sewage pipe busting, sink holes...I even have a YouTube from the upper West Side of a fire truck's wheel sunk in to a sink hole!
