Well for some strange reason way back in Mike Bloomberg's 2nd term Babeland women's adult stores were raided and patrons can no longer rent films for educational or pleasure purposes.
Blue Door was the scene of alleged entrapment -- they don't tell you at the Police Academy that super hottie cops may be selected to pose as a potential boy toy offering oral pleasures -- oh the delights and dangers of undercover work....
I went in to Blue Door and asked if they had hours for women only and they said no.
The store was empty and although I am 50 the two men working the store were old enough to be my fathers and I asked them about top porn stars -- they seemed fairly uneducated and fascinated by me as they ate their exotic foods.
I asked them if they remember my Mayor Bloomberg King of New York poster hanging up in the front entry way of the Blue Door. They said no. Who knows maybe they had different owners than?
Note Christine Quinn and Mike Bloomberg had no problems with Ruben Wills a city council member owing child support -- a large amount of money.
Glad to know that the mayor, city council and the NYPD have their priorities...
Since Babeland on the Lower East Side and Soho were raided way back when by the 5th Precinct and the 1st the Stores have lost something.... besides the option to rent films.
I know there is so much free stuff on the internet and it is almost a deterrent. Lots of really unattractive people actually too many and young women that look scarily too young. Who knew so many people were and are stepping in front of cameras to have sex....almost scary really.

It was about as urgent as Terrorism and or the mega corruption at City Hall like CityTime and ECTP the 911 Tech system not working.
