Dear Steve:
Ask how much we are paying a high priced Washington consulting firm to give us a bogus evaluation when this flawed ECTP program aka 911 Tech Disaster very early own -- oops, early on, simple math easily exposed was a disaster and should have been stopped and investigated and handled very differently but instead another BILLION dollars was handed over to in my opinion CROOKS!
1) How much did we pay this firm for a bogus but embarassing evaulation that at least brought attention to 911 Tech Disaster -- another Tax Payer’s Titanic. http://mayorbloombergkingofnewyork.blogspot.com/2012/04/911-tech-fraud-give-me-price-tag-for.html
2) What are paying Glenn Hutchin’s Gartner Group for more bogus advice and Gartner...
ANYONE blaming the NYPD and FDNY is wrong. The blame starts with Bloomberg, Mark Page, CityTime include Bill Thompson the comptroller as well. Also blame Christine Quinn and her city council that rubber stamps tech deals and community crushing real estate deals all under Bloomberg.
No outsourcing, high priced consultants were needed EVER!!!!! This was all simple math -- ECTP the 911 Tech system. just like CityTime, NYCAPS, NYCWiNs, and the FDNY Wireless program City Council wrongly -- and city council has also hugely failed us -- City Council just approved handing Raytheon 14 million dollars more on top of the 500 million tax payer dollars we already paid for the FDNY Wireless system!
GIVE US OUR MONEY BACK!!!!!!!! Across the boards! The CityTime pay back from SAIC was another fraud and 500 million was way too low a settlement and ditto for ECTP where we have spent over 2 billion as opposed to CityTime which is close to 1 billion and more if you include throwing again time systems that worked!
We have more than enough money to prevent lay-offs and harsh cuts of any kind if we stopping throwing away billions on flawed tech that make top Defense companies and Fortune 500 companies even richer with contracts where the fix was in.
In no successful biz can you over run contracts by hundreds of million or a billion and running but Mike and City Council allowed it. John Liu is the only one who fought this and 2 City Council members that I am aware of fought CityTime but it is obvious who is to blame here and resignations should be called for.
We have zero accountability in New York Goverment from top officials to City Council we have been failed and there will be no evaluation on that! Even the media protects them and I can give you countless examples from CityTime posted on my blogs to the fact it is word on the street that certain City Council members got NYPD PBA ticket and favor fixing and the press won’t report the names. The “little People’ are ticketed up to their eyeballs courtesy of Mike Bloomberg again crushing the middle class and the City Council members develop Marie Antoinette complexes as soon as they join City Hall wanting perks, favors and to be above the law and in return they rubber stamp corruption!
We saw how the media blacked out all of Bloomberg’s critics and silenced voices in opposition. They are doing the same here. The fault of the 911 Tech System squarely falls on mayor Bloomberg and I want a refund for the tax payers of New York....how about 2 billion dollars and 1 billion for CityTime and could we get RICO charges than multiple by 3!
Thanks for letting me share this with you,
Suzannah B. Troy
Yes there is something very wrong with the 911 tech system for zero dollars I can tell you it is simple math and Mike Bloomberg is to blame for allowing obscene and wrong spending on a flawed tech system just like CityTime!!!!
