NYPD Officers Shot Expect Silence

I don't condone or excuse anything the NYPD do wrong like the rape cops but 2 NYPD officers were shot and no leader will speak up, no activists or community groups will raise there voices today. What is so wrong with "fragile New Yorkers" that can only resolve issues with gun fire? There violence is an epidemic that robs entire communities of there basic human rights to their lives. We have had babies, kids and grannies hit with bullets but supposedly leaders and or groups with rare exceptions (they are amazing souls street level trying to bring Peace to the Streets) take constructive actions to reclaim neighborhoods. Why zero respect for humanity and the community? Why so fragile the only answer is gun fire?

For good NYPD an honest mistake like a medical doctor could mean death, someone else's or even their own. To their critics, do you think an officer wakes up and says I want to shoot someone to day or kill someone? No. Critics won't go out in the neighborhoods the NYPD do at night. The critics teach their hate. A new member said they live in long island. I suggested perhaps based on their salary they could not afford an apt in Manhattan for themselves let alone a spouse and children.

The cowardly blame the NYPD and keep their mouths shut and won't utter a word against rap and media that glamorizes guns, drugs, calling women bitches which I think encourages violence and rapes which are up in NYC and under reported.

No one will ask Pres and Michelle Obama if they confronted Jay-Z on how his rap has contributed and still does to violence including towards women. Did Michelle call Jay-Z up and say why did you prevent other NYers from maternity care they needed and why did you install bullet proof windows in the maternity ward. Let's ask what ever her name Paltrow why her idol had to put bullet proof glass in the maternity ward. NYPD officers were shot last night and all I hear is silence.

I have constructive ideas and I send them in. I do think NYPD needs to understand the parasympathetic system vs sympathetic system and perhaps learn to over ride fight or flight response -- if possible to prevent shooting someone they shouldn't and also the parasympathetic to decompress from what has to be one of the most dangerous and under appreciated jobs in NYC. Reminder 2 Auxillary NYPD - that means no guns -- where shot to death in the West Village by a mad man because of their uniforms -- they died at St. Vincent's -- one thing I know -- the NYPD critics aren't half as brave.


That being said the crooked cops have to be weeded out and punished. I have met bad cops including 2 women from the 9th Precinct. I did not know than -- get their badge numbers and call Internal Affairs.


But when an NYPD officer does good write their commander or Commish Kelly and praise them. Say thank you.

Expect silence about gun violence today and zero about NYPD officers being shot. Mike is probably in Bermuda.


You can take away guns but how do you resolve such fragile people that can only respond with violence. Violence does not require guns. Guns aren't used when we find women raped and beaten to death. Why such hatred of women? Why zero respect for humanity and community?
