The Democrats are suppose to be for the People but here in NY they are driving The People out of New York State because People cannot afford to live here. It is just too expensive and the political players have lost their moral compass to greed and stupidity along with the Oligarchs of New York -- billionaires.
It will be only the very rich, politically connected and eventually years down the road there will be blood shed -- literally violent riots that make Occupy Wall Street and NYPD clashes look like a love-in.
The NY politicians are mostly Democrats and they have hurt New York State and City yet they continue to take zero responsibility.
How did Pedro Espada, Carl Kruger and so many others that have avoided indictment from Albany to City Hall thrive all these years.
When I talk to Occupy Wall Street -- most do not even know who Christine Quinn is and that she leads the mayoral run with campaign donations from Wall Street Banks, Billionaires and the most greedy corrupt entities that want to run this city including Verizon that is embroiled in at least 2 major mega-scandals NYC gov -- one with ECTP the 911 tech system and the other Board of Ed -- maybe even a series of board of ed deals where with all gov. contracts the fix is in.
Peaceful New Yorkers continue to quietly leave because they cannot afford New York.
The city is just too expensive and ditto for the State. The tax payers have to pick up all the slack with higher taxes and by being ticketed for everything under the sun -- Mike Bloomberg’s favorite way as he sets a historic record with multi-billions in tax payer abuse on tech contracts that are flat out criminal.
