Amanda Burden -- the people of New York City's Burden in Crains

I went to bed in the East Village and woke up in a bad xerox of mid-town turning into a bad xerox of Dubai! Even the previous city planner under Giuliani said "No" to Cooper Union tearing down their little yellow Science building and supersizing it, moving out for 99 years and leasing. I am told the city planner said, "No, this is a shell game.". Amanda the people's Burden has aided and abetted the greediest and most ruthless real estate developers displacing entire neighborhoods like Manhattanville as Columbia University abused eminent domain. I asked her to give us zoning protection in an attempt to save St. Ann's Church, 120 East 12th Street. Many of you may know the USPS sold the air space over the church and never notified the State of NY as legally required but just like blocking a fire hydrant outside my ex-building of 20 years, the USPS was confident they were and are above the law. She has so many powerful friends and make sure she gets great public relations piece in the press but the people of New York hold her in the lowest possible esteem. The mayor despite being on target to spend 100 million dollars to buy, oops win a third term has alienated voters denying them a referendum. If he wants to win back a few votes, he needs to fire her or his circles, the way it goes is she needs to announce she is stepping down to spend more time with her family.
