Law360 reported the Firm’s successful representation of Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) in defending the company in a bid protest matter with Unisys Corp. Unisys claimed that SAIC, through a former government employee, had access to and used proprietary information in preparing its bid to the Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization for a US$91m contract, intentionally bidding hourly rates below those used by Unisys. The investigation found that the employee’s knowledge did not give SAIC an unfair competitive advantage. Washington, DC litigation partner James J. McCullough led the Fried Frank team.
