Suzannah B. Troy, that is me, interviews a 12 year old who is not a fan of king Mike Bloomberg.
King? She laughs.....Yes, I call him king because he denied us a referendum to vote on whether we should extend term limits for mayor and city council, keep them the same or have no limits at all.
Why are you unhappy with the mayor?
She replied: Because mayor Bloomberg keeps cutting funding for public places such as my school and the library.
What kind of cuts are you talking about?
School cuts: He cut the funding for some of our activities that kids really liked, after school programs, supplies including books, we have crappy lunches now.
How so? We don't have as good quality food but he put in a salad bar that doesn't much offer.
After school you can either go to a library except the hours have been cut or go to movie or hang out on the street and it seems more kids are just hanging on the street since the mayor made cuts.
