Cy and Preet haven't let them get away with murder simply because they haven't murdered anyone yet.
Mike Bloomberg and Christine Quinn used slush and intimidation to steal a third term as well as illegal corrupt back room deals and start with John Sexton NYU and Bill Rudin but the list is long and than look to who Mike's "charity" paid off as well for helping push thru an illegal third term.
So many corrupt city council members that were stealing are stealing voted to extend term limits and should be in jail. Some are, some's top aides are but in my opinion crooks like Arroyo and her mom like Vito Lopez remain free but thank Preet because he could have shut down Christine Quinn and he gave her and the rest of city council a free pass to continue abusing slush aka tax payer money.
I was the only one to shout CHRISTINE QUINN NEVER FILLED THE SLUSH WATCH DOG POSITION. Give the name of the person she appointed and name one slush abuse they busted. I called Josh Margolin who reported Quinn appointed someone from inside but that is the same as appointing a puppet and I never got a name. It doesn't matter. Slush dog watch dog just like conflict of interest position that let Mike Bloomberg's BFF Steve Rattner raid the NY Pensions and Andrew Cuomo another fake -- let Rattner avoid jail so Rattner can write op ed pieces for The Financial Times and The NY Times!
Andrew Cuomo and Christine Quinn continue to funnel money to Vito Lopez and Andrew Cuomo appointed Dave Paterson to the MTA board -- ANDREW CUOMO REWARDED DAVE PATERSON FOR SILENCING A VICTIM OF SPOUSAL ABUSE and FYI the Black Community backed him silencing a victim a Black Woman who was physically abused by Dave Johnson 6 foot 9 who fled the scene when she called 911. Black leaders help to keep Dave Paterson in power and the only honest People in Albany resigned while finally Paterson was forced to fire his BF Dave Johnson who he had on the payroll but Paterson did not resign and Cuomo and Black political leaders sent the wrong message and than they wonder why so much violence towards women....
So why did they do it? For the same reason all these corrupt politicians are breaking every law in the book -- it is about power and money. Truly from The White House to Albany to City Hall uber corrupt which is why we are closer to a 17 trillion dollar deficit and China owns a big part of our debt. This sounds like a comedy but it is a horror show.

Cuomo continues to funnel money to Vito Lopez and Cuomo justified paying off women sexually preyed on by Lopez comparing it to a car accident. Shelly was not punished as he should have been.
