Why aren't there arrests at City Hall? There seems to be more than enough evidence of people literally stealing tax payers money. Worse than treating the city like it's your sugar daddy -- this is out and out theft. Than there is a lousy attendance record. Granted you don't get handcuffs for a lousy attendance record but how about fired instead of the priviledge of voting yourselves raises and voting yourself the right to stay on another term to exploit the power you have that you should not have. In theory you are there to serve the people, not rob them. By not showing up that is another form of robbery.
See above link for just one article on Baez and there are more...I don't understand what is taking so long to make arrests and why the votes for term limits is not thrown out based on the high volume of corruption by city council members that are being investigated and also surprise voted to stay for another term.

City Council woman Arroyo -- editorial The NY Daily News -- is corruption all in the family and will there be handcuffs for Arroyo family thefts? Just like Seabrook and Stewart, Council woman Arroyo did not seem to wonder where the money was coming from that her nephew was spending to pay for her and her mother to fly to Puerto Rico and to put down new floors in her office and like Stewart and Seabrook the Arroyo women have avoided handcuffs. If it was you or I we would be in jail.
They stole money, they robbed us literally and now the newspapers are not reporting even a bread crumb of news on the on going investigations at City Hall of City Council members.
