The recent violent stabbing murder death of the poor man who had his ear cut off -- he may have died because St. Vincent's closed and there is no doubt Richard Scheirer also died because St. Vincent's hospital was not open.

What about our Rescue Workers like the NYPD that need a hospital in the West Village?
NYPD Auxiliary Officers Nicholas Pekearo and Eugene Marshalik were gunned down by a violent man with a gun -- they died at St. Vincent's the closest hospital at the time. They never would have made it to the other hospitals... The New York Times won't look at these tough issues and silence voices that would make their campaign candidate --- Christine Quinn look bad because The NY Times acts like Christine Quinn's campaign manager.
