Do you think the City Council got the message the people of NY sent when king Mike and enough city council members flushed democracy down the toilet and than Mike just barely won even with the media acting lack they were part of Team Bloomberg? What makes me angry is certain politicos should be behind bars for helping themselves to tax payers money, booted out for nepotism and that includes life partners, and anyone who was part of the plot doesn't belong at City Hall. Abuse of "pork" aka as tax payer money and the people's trust is an understatement. City Council knows the people are very angry with a mayor and city council that favored developers. Mike Bloomberg was so willfully obtuse it did not occur to him when you support mass eviction and displacement including small businesses these people will not vote for you. Not a surprise he barely won. I am surprised some City Council members made it back for a third term because they denied the people a referendum and I can't believe some are not in jail.
