Misjudging Irene Wall Street Journal.
The cover-ups getting bigger -- now include Hurricane Irene and not only how Mike Bloomberg misjudged it but he lucked out because if Irene had hit with full force the deaths and destruction would have been significant because he failed to with basic safety measures starting with Dept. of Buildings.
CityTime an Orwellian Time clock brought in by Rudy I dubbed the Tax Payer’s Titanic and ECTP the 911 Tech System are man made natural disasters for New Yorkers but they don’t seem to want to know it and be as outraged as Bloomberg’s Blizzard 2010. Christine Quinn brushed aside 2 investigations in to CityTime by council woman Tish James yet Quinn receives the Bloomberg treatment by the media aka cover-ups and lies but at the voting booth Mike’s mini-me will feel the voter’s anger for flushing democracy down the toilet, for the cover-ups, back room deals, selling the People of NY out to real estate developer and for greedily lapping up the Wall Street bail-out via campaign donations, the corrupt bail out with no pay back to Wall Streets got millions in bonuses and private jet plane rides. Wall St. and all corrupt greedy players want Bloomberg’s mini-me in office so get ready for more cover-ups and lies.

Dept. Of Buildings failed to get construction site owners to secure debris including cinder blocks, metal and wood planks. It would have taken the NYPD's help to get irresponsible developers to do the right thing days or even a week in advance in part because Mike and his socialite mega-million dollar city planner pushed a reckless Tsunami of development. DOB is still either over run or taking bribes but the only reason there were not deaths and horrifying damage is Mike Bloomberg lucked out and ditto for The People of NY for another Bloomberg failure. People learn about CityTime, ECTP CityTime, 911 Tech System and Board of Ed Tech deals -- the largest White Collar Crime in NYC gov history and under Mike. Now he is making sure his puppet Christine Quinn is getting special media treatment like he got so the powers that be can protect in my opinion corrupt real estate deals, tech and Wall Street "dealings". Sad and disturbing we have informercials not investigative reporting. CityTime and ECTP man made disaster hit NYers much harder than Irene but NYers don't understand except we have no money for services and honest City Workers.
