I always said Albany treats NYC like a boyfriend from hell eating all my food, using me for everything he can and doesn’t even offer out the trash! (I have never had a boyfriend that! Just using colorful metaphors to tell the same old story.
But Albany fat cats found to give themselves member items aka pork -- meaning tax payer money they funnel to groups that 10 years from can get them indicted if someone is paying attention!
The good news is as terrible as things are going to get in NYC and they are -- the good is the anger towards Bloomberg continues to rise faster than the corrupt shoddy over-development, the tsunami of community crushing development he pushed which may be the worst built in NYC’s history as well the most corrupt. Bloomberg and his socialite city planner Amanda the people’s Burden destroyed entire neighborhoods causing the most mass displacement since the American Indians.
